School trips and youth groups: educational Archery Tag

Group of young people wearing chest protectors listening to the briefing before an Archery Tag session in the forest

Finding an outing that pleases a whole class or troop, fits the budget, and reassures the management on safety: the annual equation of teachers and youth leaders. Archery Tag solves it. Here is how to organise your outing on our field in Bierges (Wavre).

Why Archery Tag is made for youth groups

  • Everyone plays, all the time: no queues, no individual turns. Two teams, short rounds, constant comebacks: even the shyest pupil is in the game.
  • Pain-free: the rubber-tipped arrows do not hurt (explained here): no worried parents, no child refusing to play.
  • Values that speak to teachers and leaders: cooperation, communication, fair play, respecting rules: the safety briefing is already a lesson in collective discipline.
  • Real physical exercise without screens: two hours running in the forest.

From what age, and up to how many pupils?

From age 8 (3rd year of primary) with adapted bows, up to final-year pupils and the seniors of youth movements. For large groups (20 to 40 youngsters), we rotate teams across the Archery Tag field and our paintball fields: everyone plays in parallel, nobody waits.

Safety, in full transparency

The question of every school management, so here are the facts: full-face mask mandatory, chest protector for every youngster, imposed shooting distances, systematic briefing, instructors on the field from start to finish, and insurance included for every participant. The school's or unit's supervisors can watch the whole session from the edge of the field.

How much for a school group?

Our group packages start at €30 per youngster (2 supervised hours, gear, protectors and insurance included), with discounted rates from 15 participants. For an end-of-year outing or a camp: contact us via the contact page with the group size and date, and we will build a quote adapted to the school budget, invoice included.

Frequently asked questions from teachers and leaders

How many accompanying adults for a class?

Our instructors handle the game and safety on the field: your school's or federation's supervision standards still apply for the journey and general oversight, but no accompanying adult has to run the activity itself.

What about youngsters who cannot play (injury, exemption)?

They follow the session from the edge of the field and can take on assistant referee or photographer roles: our instructors are used to including them in the game differently.

Can Archery Tag and paintball be combined for a large group?

Yes: the ideal formula above 20 youngsters. Teams rotate between the Archery Tag field and the paintball fields (from age 8 on the kids' field, from 12 on the classic fields).

Do you issue an invoice for the school or non-profit?

Yes: tick "I need an invoice" at online booking or mention it in your quote request, with the institution's details.
